Not a Fairy Tale
Let me tell you a story:
Once upon a time, there were 2 sisters. One met her man when she was 17 and 2 years later she had a baby. Being a conscientious person, this girl went back to work when she could, but has to struggle in every morning, making sure that the little on is safely delivered to his grandma’s. After a full day’s work, she then has to pick her child up before getting home.
Ultimately, this sister and her partner are saving like mad so that they can move out of his two-bedroom flat which isn’t really suitable for a young couple with a baby, partly because of the stairs and partly because of the distance from car-park to domicile.
“Bugger this for a laugh” says the other, younger sister, “in 2 years I’ll have all of that and more without all this hardship” and then proceeded to get pregnant.
So at 17, she was immediately moved into a 2 bed-flat by the local council and given benefits. The social worker then informed her that if she gets a doctor’s note saying that she has a bad back exasperated by carrying baby up and down the stairs, and presents note to council, then she will be given a choice of 2 bedroom houses. A choice, in other words, if she doesn’t like the first one presented to her, she can wave it off and another will be offered.
Now folks, this is a true story, I’m not making this up.
This is what happens after 14 years of state control. No motivation to work, won't do unskilled work so cheap labour has to be imported in. God, what a mess
Well done New Labour
The only thing "New" about Labour was the tactics they decided to employ, to fuck up the country. I fear that there is now no hope for the country. The virus [people allowed / encouraged by the system to rip off the UK] is so well established, we're all doomed. We will all now suffer and grind teeth till we die. There's depressingly little more to say.
