By now I have, by in large, decided that the UK is better off staying in the EU. Not because it's perfect, by any means, but because the alternative is worse. I view with interest the various comments posted on Facebook and Twitter on the subject and I find most of them somewhat amusing. However, there does seem to a particular level of delusion to those from the Brexit side of the fence. These mainly consists of the fear of hundreds of migrants heading to these shore for the express purpose of fleecing the hard-working British tax-payer of their hard earned cash. Never mind about the hundreds of lazy British-born sods who sit there collecting benefits when they could be doing the work that these immigrants are doing. Lets not forget the European Court on Human Rights, another bug-bear of the Brexit mob. Naturally not many seem to grasp the fact that the ECoHR is not related to the EU and was instigate by Britain soon after WW2. However, yesterday I came across this on FB ...
