Scottish Independence?

So the SNP have got into power and have decided to hold a referendum on the subject of Scottish independence.

This sums up the arrogance of that party and of the vocal minority of the Scottish Nationalist.

The reason why SNP did well in the assembly was because traditional Scottish Labour voters do not like Ed Miliband and his party, and they would never vote Conservative. SNP is a viable alternative and so far hasn’t screwed things up. It does not necessarily mean that those who voted SNP want independence.
The other point is this. Scotland is part of a United Kingdom. It is not just up to them if they want independence or not, but also of the rest of the Union. Scotland is not like Australia or Canada and others. She not a former colony, she is an integral part of this nation and the Scots, along with the Welsh, Cornish, Northumbrians, Devonians, Northern Irish, are a part of this wonderful nation.
United Kingdom would not be United Kingdom without Scotland and I cannot believe that likes of Alex Salmond feel that they, in their arrogance, can destroy a union which has been successful for over 200 years.
Mind you, the blame for this is down to Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and the rest of New Labour for bringing in the Scottish Parliament in the first place...
