Scottish Football
Scotland was first to come up with “Premiership” concept,
a concept that was quickly taken up by the English as they could see the £
signs.
Now the SPL have the first casualty of this greed in
austere times, Rangers.
Many in teams in the Scottish Premiership are counting
the cost of the loss of Rangers and are wondering if they can afford to keep
afloat.
At least it means that the top of the SPL will be more
closely contested, but how many teams will remain? Can Scottish football afford
to maintain 42 football teams? We will see
How long before there is a similar crash in the English
Premiership? And who will be?
I can’t wait...
