Terry Racism Farce

There is a lot of barracking going on in a football game. The fact that footballers are not known for their wit and intellectual prowess means that this banter is likely to be crude.

And so it was in the game between Chelsea and QPR.

Anton Ferdinand said something to John Terry, who said something back, which was then replied to and so on and so forth.

Sometime during the course of this intellectual conversation John Terry called Anton Ferdinand a “black c**t”.

To my mind that merely makes John Terry observant as Anton Ferdinand (and his subsequent actions support this) is clearly a c**t and is indeed black.

This should have stopped then and there. If Ferdinand was that upset, he should have confronted Terry and the pair of them could have thrashed out like men.

Instead, Ferdinand, on the evidence of a You Tube entry and a lip reader, runs like a little girl to the Authorities saying “Miss, miss, John Terry said bad words to me, [sniff!]”

The Authorities should have told Anton, to grow some balls and go away, but instead decide to prosecute Terry.

What a farce. There was only ever going to be one result, which was the not guilty verdict that Terry got.

In my opinion John Terry is an overpaid, womanising thug, but he isn’t racist

The FA should have had the gumption to tell the CPS where to go and deal with the situation internally, just as it did with the Suarez incident.
