Dogs

During my spare time I tend to drive to Dinton Pastures and have a game of golf. For those of you who don’t know Dinton, it is a wonderful country park with loads of woodlands, walks, lakes etc: http://www.wokingham.gov.uk/parks/parks/country-parks/dinton/, and its ideal for dog walking.

I am a great animal lover and after I finish my round I like nothing better that sitting outside with a coffee and watching all of the pooches, some clearly knackered after a good run-around, some covered in mud but all happy, tails wagging and in basic canine heaven.

Contrast this with the dogs that I see town. Lots of them don’t look half as happy. In fact many of them probably have higher IQs than their moronic owners who treat them as nothing more than status symbols. I feel sorry for these dogs and I seriously think that consideration ought to be given to bringing back the dog licence. If ever there is a need for regulation, dog-ownership is it...
