Horn Golf Society

Friday was the day of the last Horn Golf Society matches.

It was hosted at Birds Hill golf course which was in immaculate condition considering the time of year. Apart from a very brisk wind, the weather was ideal and all had a thoroughly good time.

As per usual, many of us then attended the Horn for a few drinks and general discussions and bullshit on the day’s events.

A fabulous chilli was served and the evening’s highlight was the presentations of the trophies for the season.

Congratulations to Geoff for winning the season’s trophy and commiserations to Jason for collecting the runner up trophy, despite being well in the lead with two games to go.

My main thanks however, goes to the three who make this society work:

All 3 have worked hard to make this society work and I hope that they continue in their roles to keep the HGS as successful as ever
